OOTD Tank & Shorts

This past weekend we went to this beautiful resort called Waterville Village Resort in NH. We had so much fun that Yanni did not want to come back home. The weather was nice but still a little muggy as it has been for the past weeks. So for wheter such as this comfort and protection from the sun is required. This look is composed of denim shorts with darning detailing (which is trendy for denim right now), the black sandals from the last post and a B/W tank with a colorful fun print from HM. The hat makes it stylish and cool and keeps my baby protected from the sun. The green round shades are from Children`s Place. There you go! Ready for a fun trip to a summer resort with the family!

OOTD For A Hot Muggy Day

It`s been weeks since my last post! Life has been keeping me busy. But well! This look is from weeks ago when we had a super warm and muggy day here in New England. TheB/W animal print dres is from H&M (which cost me only $5,00) and a elastic belt with a leather bow buckle. The hair was put up in a bun with a black rosette, keeping her cool and stylish. This black sandals are my favorites right now since they are so easy to match with almost anything. Bellow is my princess with her BFF. Aren`t they cute?

Sequined Velvet Jacket and Jeans

 We had a beautiful rainy day here in New England today. Because my birthday is coming, my wife and my little princess took me out for lunch for an early celebration. Here is the easy "ootd" formula we went for: T-shirt + denim + sequined velvet jacket. Comfortable, cozy and easily chic, even for a four year old young lady!

Tivemos um lindo porém chuvoso dia hoje aqui em "New England". Porque meu aniversário esta bem próximo minhas meninas me levaram pra almoçar fora pra começar as comemorações. Aqui está a fórmula para o "ootd" da minha princesa para um almoço especial com o papai: T-shirt + jeans + blazer de veludo com paetês. Confortável e chic sem muita complicação, até para uma linda garotinha de quatro anos de idade!

The Black Dress Made Modern & Fun

The little black dress designed by Hubert de Givenchy and worn by Audrey Hepburn in the opening of the 1961 romantic comedy film Breakfast at Tiffany's is cited as one of the most iconic items of clothing in the history of the twentieth century and perhaps the most famous "little black dress" of all time. So inspired by Hepburn`s iconic dress I created a look adapted for my four years old princess. The intention was not to create a identical look but to emulate the elegance and add a childish vibe maintaing the comfort required when you are a active little one. The vest, the glitter wrist bands and the belt are from H&M, the dress is from Children`s Place and so are the shoes.

O vestidinho preto criado por Hubert de Givenchy and usado por Audrey Hepburn na abertura do filme de 1961 entitulado no Brasil "Bonequinha de luxo" é citado como o maior ícone do vestuário feminino na história do século vinte and com certeza o tubinho preto mais famoso de todos os tempos. Inspirado neste vestido ícone criei um look adapatado para minha princesinha de quatro anos de idade. A intençao não foi copiar o look mas sim captar a elegância e adicionar um ar mais infantil mantendo o conforto. O colete de pele, pulseiras e o cinto são da H&M, o vestido e os sapatos são da Children`s Place.
