Animal Print Bottom & Denim Top

Animal print is the new black. I bought Yanni this animal print leggings  at Children's Place months ago and they are so versatile. We have created many looks with it (some of which you can see as you scroll down). The knot Denim top is a from DKNY. Besides being trendy it is also very ease to create different looks with it. To the look created above we combined black studded strappy sandals, aviator shades and a pony tail with a metal resined flower to add some cuteness to the easy hair do. And off we went for a playdate with some of Yanni`s buddies. This look was featured on the Fashion Kids Instagram and website. Check it out.

OOTD For A Hot Muggy Day

It`s been weeks since my last post! Life has been keeping me busy. But well! This look is from weeks ago when we had a super warm and muggy day here in New England. TheB/W animal print dres is from H&M (which cost me only $5,00) and a elastic belt with a leather bow buckle. The hair was put up in a bun with a black rosette, keeping her cool and stylish. This black sandals are my favorites right now since they are so easy to match with almost anything. Bellow is my princess with her BFF. Aren`t they cute?

The Animal Face Printed Top "OOTD"

It has been weeks since I bought this top for Yanni. I bought it a H&M store at the boys section of the store. When I first saw it I fell in love and thought it would be perfect for the summer with shorts. So that is how we styled it: white shorts, golden bow belt, golden shoes, golden bow for the hair (which was kept in a hight side bun), leather  bracelet and aviator shades. There…casual cool girl look for a summery day!

Há algumas semanas atrás me deparei com esta regata com estampa "Animal Face" numas das lojas H&M. Quando a vi pensei quão perfeito ficaria com shorts pra um dia quente de verão aqui em New England. E foi assim que este look foi composto: shorts jeans branco, cindo dourado com fivela de laço, tênis dourado, laço dourado no cabelo (o qual mantivemos num coque alto inclinado pra lateral), bracelete de couro preto e óculos aviador. Pronto… look casual e com atitude, perfeito para um dia quente de verão.

Gossamery Yellow Summer Dress

So I wanted a yellow chiffon dress for my daughter and because I could not find it once again I made the dress myself. For accessories my princess is wearing an animal print oversized bow headband (Children`s Place), metallic golden sandals a white pearl bracelet. Summer perfection!

Eu queria um vestido amarelo pra minha filha e por não encontrar algo que me agradasse mais uma vez resolvi fazê-lo eu mesmo. Pra completar o look minha princesa usou tiara com laço em "animal print" (Children`s Place), sandália metálica dourada e bracelete de pérolas. Perfeito pro verão!

Fur And Shiny Leggings For A Cold Spring Day

What a beautiful cold spring day it was here in New England! It required a extra layer of clothing for some extra warmth. So here it goes: plain white T-shirt, shiny black leggings, black shoes and cute collar style necklace and a fur coat. The hair was let down to give it that soft rock feel. Chic, comfortable and cool!

Como de costume aqui em New England, tivemos um lindo porém frio dia! Para temperaturas mais fresquinhas é necessário camadas extra de roupa pra manter a temperatura do corpo. Então vai a composição do "ootd": T-shirt branca lisa, leggings com efeito brilhoso, sapatilhas pretas, um colar estilo gola com gliter e uma jaqueta de pele estampada. O cabelo ficou souto pra dar um efeito mais "rock" pro look. Chique, comfortável e "cool"!

Colorful Animal Print Peplum Dress

I really love the peplum trend and I have been looking for a peplum dress for my princess for a while unsuccessfully. So I decided to put my sewing skills to work once again and make my daughter a very exclusive made to measure peplum dress. In my search for material I found this gorgeous happy colorful animal print and had to buy it. Here is the result posted in this pics. I styled it with a light denim jacket (H&M), purple tights (Children's Place), purple studded shoes, white studded leather wristband (H&M) and an oversized flower sequined headband (H&M). Yanni loved it! I hope you guys do too!

Eu estou curtindo um monte essa tedência do peplum and tenho procurado sem muito sucesso um vestido peplum para minha princesa. Então decidi por em prática mais uma vez minhas habilidades pra costura and fazer um vestidinho exclusivo feito sobre medida pra minha filhota. Na minha procura por tecido eu encontrei esta malha com estampa"animal print" colorido and tive que comprar. Aqui está o resultado nas fotos. Pra compor o look optamos por jaqueta jeans clarinha da H&M, meia roxinha, sapato roxo com tachinhas, bracelete de couro branco com tachinas coloridas (H&M) uma faixa de paetê com flor "oversized" branca pro cabelo (H&M). Minha clientezinha e eu amamos o resultado e espero que vocês também gostem!

Stripes and Peplum

Black & white stripes are having its moment in fashion once again this spring. And inspired by that trend I decided to make this top for my baby (YES, I made it myself, I am a designer… remember? Haha, I am in this mood where I wanna sew for my baby all the time). I went for the peplum look since its also a trend that`s been sticking out for a while. And to pair with the top I made a fitted knit skirt in black. The shades are from Children`s Place, the head piece is a mix of sequin band from H&M that I added the flower to (it actually has a hinged pin and catch). 

Listras em preto e branco são fortes tendências para a próxima estação. E inspirado nesta tendência decidi fazer este top para minha gatinha (Sim, eu mesmo fiz, sou formado em moda…lembra? hahaha, ando nessa lua de querer costurar tudo pra minha gatinha). Optei em fazer o top com peplum porque tbém é tendência, que aliás esta na moda a várias estações. Para ir com o top fiz uma saia justa em malha preta. Os óculos são da Children`s Place, a faixa de cabelo de lantejoulas é da H&M (a flor eu adicionei à faixa que aliás é como um bróche com alfinete).

Skinny Jeans...

I found this really cool skinny jeans for Kids at H&M and I bought it in two different laundries, one dark and one light. I love them 'cause they go with everything and theu have a hight elastane content that allows for the kids to play and move comfortably. For this look we paired it with buttoned light blue shirt (H&M), animal print vest (Children`s Place), and huge pink sequined head piece (on sale at H&M for $5,00), a belt (this was a adult size belt that I cut and punched new holes to fit on Yanni`s waist), and this really cute suede ankle boots that I bought on sale for $6,00 at one of the CW stores (I love them since they go with everything). What do you think of the look? Yanni loved it!

Eu encontrei essa calça jeans com corte "skinny" para crianças na H&M and tive que comprar duas, uma com lavagem escura e outra com lavagem clarinha. Amo estas claças porque são modernas e vão com tudo, além disso elas tem alto teor de elastano na composição, oque permite que as criancas se sintam confortáveis para brincar e se mover. Para este look combinamos o jeans com camisa de botão azul clarinho (H&M), veste com estampa animal (Children`s Place), um arquinho de lantejoulas pink enorme (que comprei por $$5,00 na H&M), um cinto (tamanho adulto que cortei e fiz buracos novos pra caber na cintura da Yanni) e essas "ankle boots" marron de suede, a qual comprei por $6,00 numa das lojas CW (amo essas botinhas porque vão com tudo). Oque vcs acham do look? Yanni amou.
